SHEFFIELD Philharmonic Orchestra is hosting a family Christmas concert tomorrow.
The event takes place at Victoria Hall on Norfolk Street in Sheffield city centre from 3pm.
It will last an hour and is designed to offer all ages a much-needed break from Christmas shopping.
Traditional carols, festival music from Leroy Anderson and classics from Mozart or Tchaikovsky will be performed.
Wendy Mass, publicity officer, said: “The highlight of the concert will be a short comic opera by Mozart which is amazing and being performed by a London choir who are coming up especially for the event.”
Tickets for the event cost £10, with concessions at £7, students £4 and children aged under four £2.
They are available on the door or from the Blue Moon Cafe on St James’ Street.
