Residents urged to help cut burglaries

Police in Woodseats are asking residents to be vigilant and write down the number plates of vehicles they are suspicious of.

The plea has been made in a bid to try to reduce the number of burglaries.

Inspector Ian Stubbs, of the Woodseats and Gleadless Valley safer neighbourhood team, said: “If you see something suspicious, someone hanging around your street in strange circumstances, ring us on 999.”
