Residents packed into Totley Methodist Church Hall on Monday night to show their support for the Save Totley Library campaign.
Totley Library is among those set to be closed by Sheffield Council as part of the most recent round of budget cuts.
Save Totley Library posters were distributed as part of the ongoing campaign to keep the library open.
Around 250 people attended the meeting.
Residents talked about marching into the town centre from Totley to show their anger at its proposed closure.
