Members of the community in Woodhouse celebrated Christmas in style with a special lantern parade.
More than 100 people - including Father and Mother Christmas, their elves, children from Twinkles Day Nursery, a Christmas fairy and Raisin the pony - gathered in Tannery Park for the festive walk around Woodhouse.
The residents walked to the Salvation Army church in Woodhouse where they enjoyed a nativity play and carol service.
Scott Ford, who played the role of Father Christmas, said: “My reindeer are all in intensive training getting ready for tomorrow so I thought I’d bring my Christmas pony along for a ride instead.”
The event was organised by The Friends of Tannery Park and Woodhouse TARA.
Coun Harry Harpham, cabinet member for neighbourhoods, said: “It’s great local communities are organising their own Christmas events.”
