Residents in new link-up
A SHEFFIELD residents' group is to fold and become part of the local community forum.
Hillsborough Residents' Association is being formally wound-up and the role passed on to the Hillsborough Forum.
Louise Nield, chairman of the residents' association, said: "We've achieved a lot in the three years we've been running this group and feel that by passing this group onto Hillsborough Forum we can achieve so much more."
Nick Waterfield, of the Forum, said it would now hold regular meetings for residents.
"We are happy to be able to take forward the issues and ideas of residents as well as local businesses and community groups, together as a voice we can really help to make the Hillsborough area heard."
