A path around a series of Sheffield reservoirs has reopened following repairs.
Millstone flags were used to restore 200 metres of path at Redmires reservoirs, Fulwood – with helicopters used to airlift them in due to their weight.
Alastair Harvey, of Yorkshire Water, said: “The path around the three reservoirs is used by thousands of people every year, so it’s a case of being held to ransom by its own popularity. Naturally that use takes its toll.
“Due to the location and sensitive nature of the habitat, using a helicopter was the sensible option.”
