A CYCLIST dislocated his shoulder while biking in the Peak District.

Buxton Mountain Rescue Team was called to the Pennine Bridleway on Saturday to help the 40-year-old who catapulted over his handlebars after hitting a rock.

Ten team members helped Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance reach the man from Derby.

A team spokesman said: “One of his friends had travelled a considerable distance to raise the alarm.”
