A historic Derbyshire hall will open to the public this Christmas offering guided tours around the home and gardens.
Renishaw Hall, home to the Sitwell family for almost 400 years, will be open for visitors to explore the hall, which will be dressed for a traditional family Christmas.
The hall is celebrated for its Italianate gardens, which were laid out in 1895 by Sir George Sitwell.
It is still owned by the Sitwell family, with Alexandra Sitwell throwing open the doors to the grounds.
She said: “We really hope to see lots of visitors to Renishaw Hall this Christmas time, giving you a feel of what my historic family home is like over the festive period.”
The tours will be available at 1pm and 2.30pm on December 10 and 17. Group tours will also be available.
