FUNDRAISERS are preparing for a tough challenge this weekend - an 18-mile run and hike between two castles.

The Castle Inn, Castleton, and the Manor Castle pub, Wybourn, Sheffield, to be precise.

The event is being held for the second year in a row, in support of military charity, Help For Heroes.

Organiser Dean Morris, 47, said he is running with Anthony Cunningham and Wesley Hill, both 26, and boxer Ross Burkinshaw, 25.

“I’ve been in training since January, so I’m in condition and hope to finish in two hours, 40 minutes. But Anthony and I are running in Morph suits for a bit of a laugh, which will make life more difficult.”

Another 30 are walking the route and afterwards there will be a barbecue, raffles and auction.
