Refund wait for driver 'fined' despite valid ticket
EXCEL Parking has come under fire after 'fining' a driver who had a valid ticket.
Christine O'Connell correctly parked in the rooftop site the firm controls in Broomhill, but later received a demand for 60, which unfortunately she paid.
Mrs O'Connell, of Bank Lane, Wortley, then found her pay and display ticket from December 7, realised a mistake had been made and demanded her money back.
She's still waiting for her refund.
ACTION
AN Excel Parking spokeswoman apologised.
A refund was on its way, she added.
