HEELEY comic Anthony J Brown will star at Giggle Aid III - a comedy fundraiser for the British Red Cross to be held in the Platinum Suite at Bramall Lane, on Sunday, December 18.

Max Newton, community fundraiser at the Red Cross and Giggle Aid III organiser, said: “Anthony is a top comic who works the crowd brilliantly - the way he can captivate an audience and build the tension in a room really has you hooked.”

Also performing on the night will be headliner Stewart Francis - a regular guest on BBC2’s Mock the Week, police sergeant Alfie Moore, as seen on ITV’s Show Me The Funny, and Mundo Jazz - described as a latino Spinal Tap. The evening will be hosted by New Zealand stand-up Sully O’Sullivan.

Tickets are priced £15, £12 concessions, and can be bought online at www.redcross.org.uk/giggle or by calling 0114 242 7379.
