A South Yorkshire charity is aiming to put neurological disorders in the spotlight.
The local branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association has organised a special film screening as part of a global awareness day.
Members are inviting residents of Sheffield, Rotherham and Barnsley who are affected by the condition to join them for I Am Breathing, a movie by Neil Platt which explores the last months of his life.
The film, which will be screened at Sheffield’s Showroom Cinema in Paternoster Row on Friday, June 21, documents Neil’s journey from healthy young father to becoming completely paralysed from the neck down.
