TWO lucky teenagers were on their best behaviour when they met Men Behaving Badly star Neil Morrissey backstage at the Lyceum.

Daniel and Callum, both aged 17, were picked from The National Autistic Society's Robert Ogden School in Thurnscoe, near Barnsley, to meet Neil and the cast of the new stage production of Rain Man.

Rain Man was made famous on the big screen with Dustin Hoffman playing the role of autistic Raymond.

The two teens chatted to Neil about Bob the Builder and their favourite movies and TV series.

Callum, a huge fan of Thomas the Tank, was thrilled to hear Neil had played a part in a special episode.

The Robert Ogden School is the largest school in the UK for children and young people with autism.

Gillian Roberts, principal of the Robert Ogden School, said: "For many people, the film of Rain Man was where they gained their first knowledge of autism.

"So we are very excited that this production is coming to Sheffield and that two of our children are to visit the theatre." She added: "Savant skills like Raymond's are exceptionally rare.

"Although there is no doubt the Rain Man film put autism in the public mind for the first time, we hope that this production will give us the opportunity to discuss more about how autism affects people in different ways and what further support is needed."

In the play, which runs until Saturday, September 12, 2009, Neil is Raymond, an autistic savant with exceptional skills in maths.
