Pyjama party for hospice

STAFF at a Sheffield city centre store will be dressing in nightdresses and slippers for a fundraising pyjama party to raise cash for poorly children.

The event at Wilkinson on Saturday will help boost Bluebell Wood children's hospice in Dinnington, which cares for poorly children from across South Yorkshire and beyond, as part of the company's charity partnership with Children's Hospices UK across the UK.

A Bluebell Wood spokesman said: "We are delighted that Wilkinson have chosen to support Children's Hospices UK, and look forward to working with the local stores."

Wilkinson chief financial officer Ian Ellis said: "The pyjama party will kick off our year-long fundraising activities to support Children's Hospices UK and specifically, in this area, Bluebell Wood children's hospice.

"I'm sure our colleagues and customers will give generously to help us raise money for such an important cause."
