Put a stop to new rules

Have your say

the new Housing Bill will be the beginning of end of the few decent council homes left.

It’s wrong to force a review of a tenant’s need through a two-year lease. They’re our homes and we spend money making them more comfortable. We’ve lived close to neighbours for years.

The leasing system will mean new tenants will see themselves more as lodgers and not bother to improve the home. They know they may have to move in two years.

The house will never be their home for life, or for their children. We’ll see a massive increase in slums, crime and bad neighbours.

We must at all costs put a stop to these new housing regulations.
