Members of the public were invited to tackle interactive bridge building challenges during a visit to a South Yorkshire waste treatment plant.
Balfour Beatty invited people to visit its plant in Rotherham as part of the UK Contractors Group initiative, Open Doors Weekend. The initiative aims to provide a behind-the-scenes look at construction sites, promoting the diversity in construction and career opportunities within the industry.
Paul Hudson, project manager, said: “We were delighted to be able to participate in the Open Doors event.
“We will continue to welcome visitors to our site and engage with the community throughout the project.”
