A Sheffield pub is to reopen on Thursday following a refurbishment.
The Gypsy Queen in Drakehouse Lane shut on Monday, October 20, to allow new carpets, seating and lighting to be installed.
The pub’s back bar has also been refurbished as part of the changes.
There will be a quiz night and disco at the pub, which is close to Crystal Peaks retail park, on Thursday to celebrate the renovation.
Pub manager Paul Stevenson said he was looking forward to people seeing the changes. He said: “The pub has been in need of a bit of a refresh and this mini-makeover will be just the job. We are hoping to keep the disruption to a minimum and are looking to reopen on Thursday, when we would invite everyone to come along and take a look.”
