A MUSIC festival which pulled in the crowds at a Sheffield pub has raised £2,200 for Cancer Research and the British Heart Foundation.

Running for its second year, the Angel Festival was held on Sunday at The Angel pub, Woodhouse, and had 14 bands and one solo artist playing for a 12-hour stint.

The acts included local original and cover bands from Woodhouse and further afield, and ranged from veteran players to youngsters.

All proceeds from entry fees, the pork roast, barbecue and face painting went to the two charities.
