A NUISANCE tenant who made her neighbours’ lives a misery with her abusive behaviour has been evicted from her home.

Penny Anderson was the subject of repeated complaints from fellow residents on Ridal Avenue, Stocksbridge, after she took pictures of people without their consent and behaved offensively.

Ms Anderson was also abusive to housing association staff and police officers, and an eviction warrant was requested by the council and Sheffield Homes.

The problem tenant tried to have the warrant suspended, but her request was dismissed and an eviction order made at Sheffield County Court.

She was ordered to pay costs of more than £3,600.

Council cabinet member Harry Harpham said eviction was ‘always a last resort’.
