A man from Sheffield died after he was struck by a train at Dronfield railway station.
The 46-year-old, who has not yet been named, died on Saturday morning.
His death, which is being investigated by British Transport Police, is not being treated as suspicious.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: “Officers were called to Dronfield rail station on Saturday following a report of a man being struck by a train.
“Paramedics also attended but the man, aged 46 years-old and from the Sheffield area, was pronounced dead at the scene.”
