A PROBE is under way into a spate of break-ins across Sheffield.
Doors were forced open into houses on Psalter Lane, Nether Edge, last Wednesday afternoon, and on Northcote Avenue, Heeley, some time between Tuesday, August 28, and Sunday, September 2.
Windows were forced open by burglars who got into properties on Wath Road, Nether Edge, last Monday and on Meadowhead, in Meadowhead, last Thursday.
The night before a property on Periwood Avenue, Woodseats, was broken into after a door was left unlocked.
And overnight last Wednesday a house on Atlantic Road, Lowedges, was also broken into when a door was left open.
Another incident under investigation is an attempted break-in on School Lane, Greenhill, overnight on Sunday into Monday last week, when attempts to force open four windows were made.
