South Yorkshire Probation Trust’s chief executive has retired after a 37-year career with the Probation Service.
Roz Brown left on Thursday after seven years at the head of the South Yorkshire trust.
She started her career in West Yorkshire and has worked in London, Lancashire and North Yorkshire.
Ms Brown said: “I have had a wonderful seven years at South Yorkshire Probation Trust and am privileged to have worked with so many dedicated colleagues who are so committed to protecting the public and making communities safer.
“I am proud South Yorkshire is one of the top-performing in the country and the only trust to have consistently significantly reduced reoffending every quarter.”
She has now taken on a voluntary role.
