Prank victim rescued on reservoir
A teenage girl was rescued last night after being stranded in a small boat on a Sheffield reservoir.
South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue's specialist water rescue teams, based in Rotherham and Aston Park, were called in and the girl, thought to be aged around 15, was brought to shore from More Hall Reservoir, off More Hall Road, near Bolsterstone, at about 9.15pm.
The girl had been pushed into the oarless boat by her friends as a prank.
