Police seek man in Doncaster store CCTV pictures

Images have been released by South Yorkshire Police of a man they would like to question following a bike theft in Doncaster.

Officers believe the man, pictured right, may hold vital information on the theft of a pedal bike from outside the Tesco Express store in Bentley High Street.

A customer had left the bike, a new grey Carrera model, outside the supermarket at around 8.25pm on Tuesday, May 6.

It had been left unattended for only around 30 seconds when it was taken.

Police want to speak to the man as it is thought he may have vital information about the incident.

He is white, of average height and build, and in his twenties.

He was wearing khaki-coloured combat trousers with pockets on the sides, a khaki-coloured hooded jacket, trainers and a black T-shirt.

Anyone with information, or who may know where the bike is, should call South Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 1,116 of Tuesday, May 6.
