POLICE are investigating an allegation of theft of angling gear from a Doncaster shop.

Officers looking into the incident at Paul’s Tackle Shop, on Doncaster Road, Denaby, say it is alleged that staff were distracted while members of a gang concealed items including rods and reels on themselves before leaving the shop.

The incident happened at about 1.30pm on Tuesday, August 2.

They have issued pictures of seven people they want to speak to as part of their enquiry and are appealing for help from the public in identifying them. Call 0114 220 2020 quoting crime number A/73781/2011.
