Police search for missing Rotherham man

POLICE are searching for a Rotherham man who went missing from a racecourse yesterday.

Philip Lucas, 70, been at the Cheltenham Festival in Gloucestershire with friends.

He was last seen at around 5.50pm on Tuesday.

Mr Lucas is white, around 5ft 6IN tall, with white and grey hair. When last seen he was wearing a blue coat and a hat. He walks with a limp, following a knee operation.

Philip is from Rotherham and is supposed to be staying in Cranham this week.

Police say they received a possible sighting of Philip at the Kings Arms in Prestbury at approximately at 11.15pm but there has been no confirmed information about his whereabouts.

Officers are concerned for Mr Lucas’ welfare and are asking him, or anyone who sees him, to call Gloucestershire Police by dialling 101.
