A POLICE hunt is under way for a Sheffield man reported missing from his home since Monday.
David Andrew Field, aged 46, of Dykes Hall Road, Hillsborough, disappeared after leaving his black Fiat Punto at Phoenix Park Tram park and ride site, just off Junction 21 of the M1 motorway at Cinderhill, Nottingham.
Mr Field, who works in Nottingham city centre, is thought to have got on to the tram and travelled towards Nottingham train station but beyond that his movements are not known.
Police are becoming ‘increasingly concerned for his welfare’ and believe he could be in Nottingham or Sheffield.
His partner Denise said: “Dave please come home - you are so loved. Together we can sort everything.”
Temporary Superintendent Andy Male said: “We are very anxious to speak to Mr Field and ask that he calls South Yorkshire Police.
“We can talk to him in private about the reason why he feels he needs to stay away from home.”
David is white with receding fair and grey hair and sometimes wears rectangular glasses. He was wearing black trousers, a black jacket, shirt and tie and black shoes.
