Police seal off street
MARKET Street in Hoyland was closed this morning after a man was found unwell in the street just before midnight.
The man was taken to hospital but until officers could speak to him to establish what happened, they cordoned off the area where he was found as a precaution in case they need to examine it as a potential crime scene.
A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: "A man was found unwell in the street just before midnight.
"He was taken to hospital for treatment.
"At this stage there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances."
