An enhanced CCTV image has been released of a man wanted over an armed raid at a house in Killamarsh.

Detectives investigating the raid, which happened over two years ago, hope new CCTV enhancing technology, which has produced clearer images, will help them crack the case.

On March 2, 2014, four men armed with weapons, including a machete, broke into a house in Station Road and forced the homeowners to hand over a substantial amount of cash and jewellery.

The robbers ran off along Station Road and turned into nearby Havercroft Terrace.

They all wore dark clothing and black balaclavas and were described as skinny and about 5ft 10ins.

Dectective Constable Robert Milne, of Derbyshire Police, said: “We would like to trace the man in the CCTV image as we believe he may have vital information that could help with our enquiries.

“Anyone who recognises the man can contact me.”
