Police probe mystery over pub ‘assault’

Police are trying to find a man who may have been assaulted in a Doncaster area pub.

Officers are trying to piece together an incident in The Cromwells in Conisbrough which occurred last Friday.

Information has been received to suggest a man may have been injured in an incident involving a group of men, at around 9.45pm.

No-one has been reported as injured and no arrests have been made.

Officers would like to speak to him and to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who was in the pub at the time.

Anyone who may have been in the pub or who saw what happened can contact South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident 1,027 of October 10.
