Police praise Sheffield for '˜incredible' Tramlines Festival
Superintendent Shaun Morley said the music festival, which was held July 22-24, was an ‘incredible weekend’.
He said: “It is testament to the partnership working between emergency services, the event organisers, local authorities, businesses and the public of Sheffield, that this weekend has passed with no major issues. “Around 13 people were arrested over the weekend for minor, low level crimes, which was mainly down to excessive alcohol consumption.
“This was to be expected and we will continue to promote our #DrinkSafeSY messages across social media during the warm summer months. It’s been another incredible weekend for Sheffield.”
