Two petrol bomb attacks in Sheffield within the space of a week are being linked by police.
Officers were called to School Road, High Green, on Sunday, at 10.15pm, after two bottles filled with petrol and ignited were thrown onto the roof of an extension.
The property was empty at the time.
Police are linking it with a petrol bomb attack on Longley Hall Road, Longley, the weekend before.
Resident Collette Williams had to escape through a window when it was thrown into her home.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Police are investigating an arson incident in the High Green area of Sheffield.
“The incident is believed to have been a targeted attack, which resulted in minor damage to a property on School Road. No-one was injured.
“Officers believe this incident is connected to recent arson incidents in Parson Cross.
“Police have increased visibility in both areas and active inquiries are ongoing to bring those responsible into custody.”
