Sheffield United fans without tickets for the sell-out game against Chesterfield on Saturday are urged against travelling to the Proact Stadium.

Match commander Superintendent Jim Allen, of Derbyshire Police, said: “This exciting local derby attracts a lot of interest and we will work hard to ensure it is a safe and enjoyable occasion for both sets of supporters.

“We will be deploying our officers at key locations to prevent and deal with any incidents. Our aim is to be friendly and engaging, but we will be quick to deal with troublemakers.”
