Police in hunt for phone thief

THIS is the image of a thug who threatened a young woman and forced her to hand over her mobile phone outside a South Yorkshire pub.

The victim, a 19-year-old from Kilnhurst, Rotherham, was outside The Star pub on High Street, Rawmarsh, making a phone call.

As she finished, a man approached and demanded she hand over her black iPhone 4.

The victim said he did not harm her, but was ‘intimidating and aggressive’ and used ‘threatening language’.

He is described as white, in his early to mid 20s, of medium build, with spiky, brown hair shaved at the sides and wearing a blue-and-white checked shirt.
