Police hunt for Doncaster shop robbers

Four men are being hunted in connection with a weekend shop robbery in Doncaster.

Police atre investigating the hold-up at a convenience store on Thorne Road in Stainforth, at around 4pm on Saturday.

Officers believe that three men, wearing masks, entered the store, threatened staff and emptied the tills.

The trio are then thought to have left the store and got into a black Mark 1 Ford Focus which was being driven by a fourth man who was not wearing a mask. The boot of the car had been left open and the rear registration plate was missing.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.

The first man is described as black, 5ft 8ins of stocky build wearing a black balaclava and black clothes.

The second is described as white, fair skinned, aged between 20-25-years-old. He is thought to be of medium build with muddy blonde hair. He was also wearing a black balaclava and black clothes.

The third man is described as white; around 6ft tall of medium build. He was also wearing a black balaclava and black clothes.

The fourth man, believed to be driving the car, is described as white, aged in his 20s or 30s. He was approx 6ft 2ins tall of slim build. He had short black hair, which was shaved at the sides and a moustache. He was wearing a grey Adidas baseball cap, which had three blue stripes from crown to peak, a vest top and light coloured trousers.
