Police call at over 100 homes

police officers visited more than 100 homes to find out if residents were happy with action to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour.

Members of the Holmebrook and Rother Safer neighbourhood Team in Chesterfield carried out the community walkabout on Kingsley Avenue, Burns Close and Carlyon Gardens with housing officers from Chesterfield Council.

Feedback showed 80 per cent of residents with satisfied with work being done to tackle issues of community concern, the officers claim.
