Police investigating a horrific crash that resulted in the death of five teenagers are asking for assistance from anyone who lives and works on the road.

The teenagers died following a collision on the A630 in Conisbrough at around 9.40pm on Saturday 15 November.

Inspector Pete Serhatlic, who is leading the inquiry into the crash, would like to hear from anyone in the area, between the McDonalds restaurant and the Crookhill Road junction, that evening.

He’s particularly interested in hearing from any residents or businesses who have CCTV in place as it may have captured footage that could assist the investigation.

The teenagers were inside a blue Toyota Corrolla when it was involved in a collision with a grey Seat Leon at around 9.40pm.

They are: Bartosz Bortniczak, 18, Blake Cairns, 16, Arpad Kore, 18, Jordanna Goodwin, 16, and Megan Storey, 16. All are from the Doncaster area.

Police believe a third vehicle, a Black Vauxhall Corsa, may also have been involved.

A 21-year-old Doncaster man, who police believe was driving the Corsa, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may have CCTV that could help is asked to contact police.

Contact South Yorkshire Police 101 quoting incident 1123 or 15 November 2014.

Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
