Pole fitness fanatics showed off their moves in a bid to raise cash for Firefly cancer charity.

Benefit Pole Fitness in Rossington organised the event in memory of Firefly founder Denise Dunn who died earlier this month.

Nearly £900 was raised on the day for the charity.

The event started with a tribute to Denise and Firefly awareness followed by performances from Benefit students.

A fun Bokwa class with Dale Fletcher of Fletchers fitness also took place and a sponsored pole challenge.

The Firefly Express provides free shuttle bus services to hospitals in Sheffield, where patients often have to go for regular treatment.

Today, the unique Doncaster-based charity – that also raises awareness of cancer – is a lifeline to patients undergoing regular gruelling treatments. To donate to Firefly or to find out more about the service call 07738 390541.
