Poet performs at university

SHEFFIELD University’s Palestinian Society is hosting a performance by a poet renowned for his work about the Arab-Israeli conflict.

Remi Kenazi will appear at the Poetic Injustice event, where he will be performing his latest work and discussing the BDS movement, which campaigns for sanctions against Israel.

Also on the night will be Ahmed Dwiddar, performing the Oud - the parent instrument of modern-day guitars.

Sara Moon, Sheffield Students’ Union Development Officer will introduce the performances.

The event, on Tuesday, is free and takes place from 7.30pm.

It takes place at Coffee Revolution, Sheffield Students’ Union, Western Bank.
