A LITTLE girl from Sheffield was among winners of a poetry competition about moorland plants.

Charlotte Henshaw, aged seven, and Alice Wood, 11, of Chesterfield, will have their verses engraved on garden tools at Moorland Discovery Centre in Longshaw.

The engraved spades, saws and trowels will be placed in raised beds in the moorland garden.

Alison Riley and Noel Williams, from Sheffield, were winners in the adult section of the competition organised by the Peak District National Park Authority and National Trust.
