It was horse play for Sheffield’s St Wilfrid’s Centre as service users took a day trip to see animal trainers in action.

South Yorkshire Police Inspector Jim Revitt welcomed the charity, which supports homeless and vulnerable adults, to the horse training farm in Cudworth, Barnsley.

The officers gave live demonstrations of how they respond and answered questions from visitors.

St Wilfrid’s director Kevin Bradley said: “A good day was had by all.”
