A WOMAN whose fiancé was killed by a lorry driver asleep at the wheel helped launch a road safety campaign in South Yorkshire.

Tracey Cusick has worked with charity Brake since her partner Peter Jones died as he waited for breakdown assistance on the M62 14 years ago.

A lorry driver fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into him - killing 28-year-old Peter instantly.

Tracey worked a shift with South Yorkshire Police’s roads policing group to mark the start of National Road Safety Week, which this year has the theme of reducing speed.
