OVERNIGHT roadworks are to be carried out at Junction 33 of the M1 at Catcliffe from Monday.
The £520,000 scheme is expected to take until Wednesday, December 21, to complete.
Traffic signals will be renewed and the work will close motorway exit slip roads and the A630 route linked to the roundabout overnight.
The work will be carried out between 10pm and 6am on weekdays.
Signed diversions will be in place.
Highways Agency project sponsor Lynne Biddles said: “The vital maintenance of this important roundabout will ensure people using the M1 can continue to enjoy safe, smooth and reliable journeys.
“Replacing the old traffic signals will reduce the need for future maintenance and boost reliability.”
