RESIDENTS of Peak District villages are being invited to an event where they have queries answered about the national park’s planning process for new developments.
Officials are holding an evening planning surgery in Castleton on Wednesday, May 2, from 5pm to 7.30pm at Castleton Visitor Centre.
John Herbert, Peak Park planning committee chairman, will also be there to hear people’s general comments about planning.
He said: “Planning surgeries make it easier for residents to have a face-to-face discussion about any queries. It’s often difficult for working people to talk to our representatives in normal office-hours.”
People can book an appointment to speak to an officer at the event by calling 01629 816200 or emailing email@example.com - otherwise just drop in.
