Plan for new house opposed

town councillors at Tickhill have lodged an objection to an application to build a new detached house in the conservation area.

They have described the proposal to knock down an existing dwelling in Wong Lane as an ‘unnecessary project’ which will dominate the bungalow next door.

But they did not raise objections to the building of a detched bungalow after a detached garage in Sunderland Street was demolished.

Councillors stress that any new development must be in keeping.
