TRAFFIC was disrupted in Sheffield after a water main burst on Brocco Bank.
The burst happened just after 7am yesterday morning and left residents in the area with no water or with low pressure.
A Yorkshire Water spokeswoman said: “We apologise to any customers in the Brocco Bank area of Sheffield that may have experienced low pressure or no water in the early hours of yesterday morning due to a burst on a seven inch water pipe.”
“Customer supplies were back to normal just after 7am and the pipe has now been repaired.
“Manually operated traffic restrictions are in place from the roundabout to the junction of Rossington Road while we carry out repairs to the road. Once again we apologise for any delays this causes and thank customers for their patience.”
