DONCASTER North MP Ed Miliband swapped Labour red for charity pink to raise awareness of an annual fundraising event.

The Labour leader sported a pink tie at a meeting of Labour Party members in Scawsby – and then raised £75 with a pink-themed raffle before urging Doncaster residents to support Breast Cancer Campaign’s ‘Wear It Pink’ day.

Staff at Mr Miliband’s constituency office in Bentley hope to raise more cash with a number of fundraising events – including a pink quiz – today. Mr Miliband will then match the amount raised.
