Employees at an opticians in Sheffield are to bake cakes in the name of charity.
Specsavers Opticians at Crystal Peaks is taking part in the Great Pink Bake Off on Friday to raise funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
Staff will bake cakes and buns to sell to customers.
And colleagues will be wearing pink outfits and selling pink lemonade.
Gil Vasey, director at Specsavers at Crystal Peaks, said : “Everybody knows someone affected by breast cancer so it is great that our staff are getting behind this national fundraising event.
“We hold a number of charitable events every year, which are always supported so generous by our customers.
“I am sure that there will be a competition between who has made the best cake, brownies or buns, but that is all part of the fun of taking part in this event.”
Each year Breakthrough Breast Cancer needs to raise £20 million to support research.
The charity aims to find new treatments.
