DONCASTER New Deal for Communities is bidding to take residents on a trip down memory lane.

As part of the plans to celebrate the decade of the NDC Programme, which will be coming to an end in March, it has created an internet photo gallery containing hundreds of pictures showing its project work over the last 10 years.

John Wright, head of enterprise for Doncaster Central Development Trust, the organisation set in place to continue the work of NDC, said: “We want people to visit the website and share their thoughts and memories of the photos with us.

“This is a great opportunity for us to archive a period of time in Doncaster’s history and find out more about the people in the photographs and what was happening at the time.

“We’d encourage as many people as possible to take a look and add captions to the photos, be it individual names, dates, or a brief outline of what was happening.

“We want people to share memories of events and projects.”
