A photograph has been released of three men police want to trace over an attack in a Sheffield nightclub.

Officers investigating an attack in Corporation, in which one man suffered a broken nose and another a broken jaw, believe the men in the photograph could hold vital information.

A woman was reportedly grabbed to the throat during the incident on the club's dance floor at around 11.30pm on Friday, July 16.

Details of the incident at the Milton Street venue in Sheffield city centre have only been released by South Yorkshire Police today.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: "A photograph of three men who may hold vital information about an assault in Corporation nightclub, Sheffield, has been released.

"Two men and a woman, all in their 20s, were reportedly assaulted on the club’s dance floor at around 11.30pm on Friday, July 16.

"One man suffered a broken nose and the other a broken jaw, while the woman was reportedly grabbed to the throat.

"They were treated at hospital for their injuries but have since been discharged.

"Police believe the three men pictured may be able to help them with their enquiries.

"Do you recognise them? Did you see what happened?"
